Workplace Giving

WORKPLACE GIVING

By uniting local citizens to volunteer or donate what they can, we help them improve our surrounding area. And while this can be individuals working, we’ve found that when you can get a team together, like through civic engagement with an organization and its employees, seemingly huge projects get accomplished with ease. It works both ways, too. Employees who are actively involved in their community are more satisfied and motivated to improve.

Together, a strong and vibrant community powered by great companies helps attracts talented people to our growing area, and these employees are more likely to stay with a company that supports civic engagement. Read on to learn how your company can participate.

LEAD

Whether you are a major employer or an office of 5, we can help shape a partnership that makes the most of your team’s passion for civic engagement.

VOLUNTEER

United Way makes it easy for your employees to volunteer together or on their own. Our on-site Volunteer Fairs give your employees the chance to talk with local organizations seeking quality volunteers. Our expertise can support employees along their “volunteer career path” from one-time projects to board-level engagement.

The United Way Day of Caring is our community’s biggest volunteer effort and one of the largest in the country. Each year on one day, nearly 2,000 volunteers complete 200 projects at local nonprofits and schools. Projects can be customized to your needs. Learn more at dayofcaring.info.
