Connect With Volunteers!
Whether you are seeking skills-based volunteers or just some extra hands, we have a large volunteer pool to whom you can advertise your needs. On cvillevolunteer.org, we average more than 20 new local users a month, plus thousands of visits a month. Connect with our Engagement Manager, Anna Porter, for a tour or assistance with your account. Also let us know if you are open to corporate and group volunteering. We frequently facilitate requests from organizations.
Corporate Volunteering!
Each year the United Way of Greater Charlottesville is proud to present the Laurence E. Richardson Day of Caring. This community-wide day of service is a great opportunity for company volunteer teams to tackle meaningful projects for schools, nonprofits, and faith groups. Planning starts in June so be sure to connect early whether you plan to volunteer or to host volunteers.
Throughout the year we help businesses and groups find team volunteer opportunities. Connect with us with at least with a month’s lead time with your group size, areas of volunteer interest, and desired timing of volunteering. We’ll share some great opportunities!
