April is National Volunteer Month! Conveniently, we have some great outdoor conservancy-based volunteer projects lined up in collaboration with Nature Conservancy in Virginia for this year’s Family Volunteer Weekend, from Friday, April 19 to Monday, April 22. Projects are located at:
· Ivy Creek Foundation
· JABA
· Camp Holiday Trails
· Ronald McDonald House Charlottesville
· James Monroe’s Highland
To sign up, visit the Cville Volunteer website. You may sign up as an individual volunteer or as a group. If you have questions, reach out to Markiana Smith at msmith@unitedwaycville.org or (434) 972-1702.
If you take photos of your experience at a volunteer project site, please tag us on our social media channels at @unitedwaycville, or email them to Miranda Zelena at mzelena@unitedwaycville.org.
We look forward to witnessing the impact that volunteerism can make on our community for Family Volunteer Weekend this year!
