Voting for the 2026 Caring for Community Awards is open!
These awards celebrate and acknowledge the people and organizations going above and beyond to leave a positive impact on our community. Plus, they are fully community-driven, based on nominations and votes from local community members. This year, we refined and refreshed the award categories based on prior nominations and community feedback.
Voting is currently open for the following awards:
- Community Philanthropy Award: recognizes those giving their time, talent, and/or treasure for positive impact
- Early Learning Impact Award: recognizes ECCE professionals or centers dedicated to supporting our youngest learners
- Financial Empowerment Award: recognizes those promoting financial literacy, stability, and independence
- Community Health Advocate Award: recognizes healthcare professionals who advocate for patients and demonstrate excellent care
- Business for Good Award: recognizes businesses that positively impact employees, customers, and community
- Service Organization Impact Award: recognizes nonprofits, faith-based organizations, congregations, or ministries serving the community
Voting closes on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 11:59pm.
Winners will be announced and celebrated at this year’s Day of Caring Kickoff Breakfast on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 and in a special advertisement in C-VILLE Weekly. Thank you for helping us acknowledge the members of our community going above and beyond to leave a lasting, positive impact!
